Together, we CAN!

We are proud to live, work, and do business in the North Beach area. Our customers are also our friends, and we hope to give back to the community as we serve them here at Ocean Shores IGA. The “Together, we CAN” program is just such an effort. We can work with our customers to raise funds for local programs and scholarships to help our area. With “Hometown Kids” as our focus, we have chosen local charities that are specifically devoted to youth and children. Our employees support these programs, as well, by donating their time outside of the store to these groups.

	Scholarships have been awarded to Junior Miss participants as follows: 2000 - $200 2001 - $400 2002 - $400 2003 - $400 2004 - $400 2005 - $400
$ 550 has been given to our local D.A.R.E. program in our customer's behalf.
	Scholarships have been awarded to Miss Grays Harbor participants as follows: 1999 - $100 2000 - $350 2001 - $350 2002 - $200 2003 - $100 2004 - $100 2005 - $250 2006 - $100 2007 - $100 2008 - $500
$3650 has been awarded to the PIE in our customer's behalf.
	Scholarships have been awarded to NBHS Graduating Seniors as follows: 2000 - $500 2001 - $500 2002 - $500 2003 - $500 2004 - $500 2005 - $500 2006 - $500 2007 - $500
We have raised $1150 for the American Cancer Society.
	We have awarded $2500 to the PB Kids as part of our Together, we CAN! outreach.
Total Distributed since 1999:	$ 16,200
